The Delta Education Foundation is the only nonprofit foundation in the Delta Area (Brentwood, Oakley, Knightsen, Discovery Bay and Byron) dedicated to the expansion of after-school educational opportunities for students across school districts.  

 

The Delta Education Foundation (TDEF) engages the community, raises funds and coordinates programs to support and enhance the quality of K-12 public education in the Delta Area.
 

We do this by interfacing with local educational providers, gathering local professionals interested in giving back to their communities through teaching subjects, skills and activities in our after-school enrichment program.
 

What Makes Supporting the Delta Education Foundation Unique?

TDEF is the only  nonprofit that supports multiple public schools  representing over 30,000 individuals throughout the community. TDEF provides direct support to Delta Area students and teachers by running programs that support after-school educational opportunities. We are the only nonprofit in the Delta Area to provide scholarships to pay for after-school enrichment classes for students in need. In this session we have over 135 classes concurrently running!

Our website is the only way in which families can register for classes, which means a very specific market of parents with students access it.

Every session we produce 1-3 paper-based fliers for each school which detail the upcoming enrichment class opportunities. These fliers also include space for our sponsors' support to be known by the community.
